Astros to have 2 starters in upcoming All-Star game (2)

ARLINGTON, Texas – The Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Guardians and New York Yankees will have two starters apiece in this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star game.

The game is scheduled to get under way at 7 p.m. July 15 at Globe Life Field in Arlington. This will be the first time in 29 years that the Texas Rangers have hosted the contest.

Second-baseman Jose Altuve and designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will be representing Space City in the American League’s starting line-up.

Baltimore catcher Adley Rutschman and shortstop Gunnar Henderson have been voted into the starting line-up, as have Cleveland’s Jose Ramirez, third baseman, and Steven Kwon, outfielder.

New York Yankee outfielders Aaron Judge and Juan Soto also are set for starting roles.

Completing the starting line-up for the American League unit is Toronto first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
