Fortnite Leaks 3 New X-Men Skins (2024)

A new Fortnite bundle has seemingly been leaked, revealing that skins of iconic X-Men heroes Cyclops, Jubilee, and Colossus could be on the way. Fortnite and Marvel Comics have crossed paths many times before, often to promote an upcoming MCU movie or series with a new character skin or two. Recent rumors have suggested that even more Marvel x Fortnite content is on the way throughout Chapter 5, with a return appearance from Galactus and the arrival of the infamous Doctor Doom as yet another character skin.

Meanwhile, the mutants of the X-Men franchise have been getting plenty of love from Epic over the past couple of years, with fan-favorite power couple Rogue and Gambit making their Fortnite debuts back in 2022. Their legendary arch-nemesis Magneto would find his way onto the Island later, complete with a new Wastelander outfit that has proven to be a hit with players. Late last month, Deadpool and Wolverine received new costumes of their own to commemorate their recent big-screen team-up.

Now they could be joined by a trinity of other famous mutants, at least according to an image shared by reliable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR earlier this week. Said image features Fortnite versions of classic X-Men characters Cyclops, Jubilee, and Colossus, alongside a collection of X-Men-themed pickaxes, Back Bling, and other items. All three characters sport looks inspired by their appearances in the X-Men animated show of the 90s and its recent revival series X-Men ’97.

X-Men ’97 marks a continuing renaissance for Marvel’s merry mutants, who are set to join the MCU at some point in the future. Gaming-wise, X-Men heroes like Wolverine and Storm lent their mutant abilities to Marvel’s Midnight Suns, the X-Men-centric Marvel vs. Capcom titles are getting a rerelease in the form of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, and Logan will once again step into the spotlight in Insomniac’s Marvel’s Wolverine. Recent leaks from the developers also indicate that Insomniac will use this upcoming game as a springboard for a full-on X-Men title in 2030.

With all of this exciting X-Men news, it should come as little surprise that Epic is diving back into the mutant well for new Fortnite skins, especially since Marvel characters like Cyclops have been highly requested by fans. Should ShiinaBR’s latest leak prove accurate, then some of the most popular figures in the X-Men universe might be coming to fight the good fight in Fortnite soon.
