It comes with a great running 2005 90 HP SUZUKI Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) 4-STROKE Motor with Power Trim and Tilt on it that is in Excellent Condition. All of the EFI 4-Stroke Motors are widely known to be the best outboard motors ever made. They are much quicker and easier to start, run a lot quieter, smoother and cleaner and get a lot better gas mileage than the older carbureted 2-stroke and 4-stroke motors. The EFI outboard motors do not have chokes (that often flood engines) and they don't have any carburetors, which frequently get fouled up and dirty over the years. Cleaning and rebuilding carburetors have been one of the most common and expensive repair costs for many used motors for many years. This motor was checked out, tuned up, serviced by my Marine Mechanic in May of 2024. He changed the oil filter and motor oil as well as the grease in the lower unit at the same time. It has been in use on different lakes during the last 2 months and has been starting right up with a turn of the key and running exceptionally well! This pontoon boat was originally made in 2000; but the motor was manufactured in 2005.
